Family Fun

One of the best features of the Children's Museum in Easton is the opportunity for parents and children to work together to learn and explore at the Museum. The possibilities are endless, from the arts and crafts room where they can make fun and creative projects, to the Enchanted Forest where kids can learn to tell stories to their parents, to the FETCH! Lab, where I see parents and children on a regular basis work together on the numerous projects we offer.

This week we have been working on gumdrop domes in the FETCH! Lab, and it has truly been a family experience. Parents worked with their children to help them design their domes, making them as strong as possible, while identifying patterns and shapes within their buildings. This is just one of the many examples of the opportunity for family interaction here at The Children's Museum in Easton.
